Thank you. You are amazing!

I have lots to think about. Especially the 3 brothers I did'nt know of. Arthurs older brother William married Emma Herbert - I bet she is related to Blanche, Arthurs wife.

It is also interesting about the boarding school - another avenue to investigate.

Lily Ann married Ernest Sunderland, a gamekeeper from Woolley, had 5 children and a shop. She died in 1935.

Yep, pretty sure it is her.

On the 1881 census she is 21 and a housekeeper at Saville Hall Farm, Dodworth. The only other people in the house are also servants. Head of household is given as Henry Foster Servant (Head)

Blanche is 11. Her father William is now a publican coal miner. Living at Crane Moor Nook Victoria Inn Thurgoland
