Hi,
Would any kind person be able to find Lucy May Steains born dec quarter 1885 father
Harold Steains born 1860 Sydenham kent / Forest Hill his spouce
Mary born 1872 Brighton.
I have them in 1901
Source RG13 Piece 38 Folio 160 Page 18
Any help most appreciated. Grin
Harold is down as Stevins in 1901- Hey Ho  Undecided

Hello Irret,

Have you posted the correct information?
Mary would have been too young to be the mother of Lucy Mary born 1885

Have found a Harold Steains marrying a Lucy Mary Steains in Dec qtr Altrincham 1881 and marrying a Mary Brotheridge in Sept qtr 1889 Brighton?

A Lucy Mary Steains died Mar qtr 1886 Kingston aged 23.

Hi Jennifer, no Lucys mother died and Harold remarried Mary that why I put Harolds spouce and not Lucys mother. Well spotted. Smiley

Hi, Looks like Harold died in Brentford Mar qtr 1934 aged 73 so he should be on the 1911 census. Would give number of children alive or dead?

It looks like the answer of where they are in 1891 lies in the 1911 census as children are born 1890 & 1891.
