Hi

Can anyone help me find my elusive Edward Dorbon please?

He was born in 1811 in St Pancras and died in March 1881, so I should be able to find him in 5 decades of census records Smiley

There is no trace of him in 1841 or 1851 but he crops up in 1861 (RG9/329/152/42) with his wife Sarah.  I cant find any record of his marriage to Sarah either.  I'm wondering whether he was overseas for several years but again cannot find anything to substantiate this.

By 1871 he is living with his brother and no sign of his wife Sarah.  I'm assuming she passed away but cannot find a record of her death so I'm also wondering whether they really were married.

Can anyone help me find the missing years for Edward?

Any help would be very much appreciated.
