baptism/ birth search

Hi could anyone kindly lookup 2 births  for me - both took place in Repton
William Hulse born 1803, and his daughter Harriett Hulse 1852. i do not have a definite name for Harriett's mother but I think she may have been called Mary.
I found them both in the 1881 census (living on Lng Street) but by this time William is listed as a widower.

It looks like William's wife was mary

1841 William and mary children Richard 14, William 12, Eliza 9, Samuel 7, Sarah 5, John 1

1851 William, Mary, Sarah 15, Emma 8, Thomas 6, Henry 1

1861 William  Mary , Henry 11 granddaughter Elizabeth Mary 11 b harrogate Yorks (Harriett is not with family -she is age 9 and a servant in Staffs

1871 William 68, Mary 67 Thomas 26

1881 William 78, harriett 29

Will look for baptisms

thank you SO much.
I had been unable to find any other children for William and his wife - I only knew of Harriett who was my gt gt grandmother. I did find details of a marriage in 1837 between William and a Mary Cooper - but as I didn't find any children before Harriett (1852) I wasn't convinced I'd found the right couple (seemed a long time to 'wait' for children if Harriett was their first - now I know different.)

I travelled to Repton from Leeds yesterday and had a walk in and around St Wystan's church - really lovely, but didn't get chance to call in at the records office in Matlock. Hopefully I can try again - all this extra information is invaluable.

Thanks again Suz - makes you wonder where harriett was in 1871. The only thing I could think of is that maybe her surname has been mis-spelt. I'll perhaps try looking again for variations of Hulse!
