Jacob L'Epine in Guernsey 1600s - Master of Elizabeth Grammar School

A fellow researcher of the Lepine family has found a Jacob L'Epine in Guernsey who was sworn in as a Master of Elizabeth Grammar School on 29th May 1639.

It is presumably the same Jacob de L'Epine or a relative who was a Rector of Guernsey who signed his name with other inhabitants of the island on 11 February 1649.

This is listed on page 227 in The Guernsey and Jersey magazine, Volumes 3-4 published in 1837.

I would like to try and find out more about this Jacob and whether there were any other members of the L'Epine family who lived there. If anyone can offer any help I would be most grateful.
