Yes, my mum's maiden name was Funnell. Can get them back definitely to William Funnell, born in either 1668 or 1652. Before that, not sure.

I joined the HFA, and have received my tree - turns out my line does go back to John Harmer (d. c1543). Thomas who married Mary Gurr was the son of Josiah Harmer and Ann Curtis.
