Twinstead, Essex - LIND family
« on: Monday 19 October 09 13:53 UTC (UK) »

Elizabeth, wife of Edward George Lind, was buried at Twinstead on 11 September 1826.  Her husband, generally known as George, followed her in November 1832, requesting in his will that he should be buried in the same vault.
Has any local person knowledge of the churchyard, enough to know whether any memorial has survived?
I realise that the village is close to Suffolk, and that EG Lind was MP for Sudbury for one parliament from 1807, and so may have had some status.  I see that the church was rebuilt after this date which probably rules out any chance of a memorial within the building.
Many thanks for anything which may come to light.
