Harry & Kathleen Marchant (nee Thompson)

Kathleen Thompson was born in 1890 in Portsmouth UK and Harry Marchant in New Cross, UK. Kathleen appears to have been one of the Home Children sent from England to Quebec in 1902. In 1912 she married Harry Arthur Marchant in Toronto and had a child Charles in 1915. In 1923 she crossed the border into US to join her husband who was living at 136-9th Avenue, NY, NY. 

Has anyone connections with this family. I believe that Kathleen was my grandmothers step-sister. I would love to know what happened to the Marchant family. Folk at the Canadian side of RootsChat have been so helpful so am now asking US folk for their assistance. TIA, Margaret.

From his WWI records, Harry Arthur Marchant was b. August 8th 1890

 - there is a Harry Marchant b. August 8th 1891, died in 1981, last residence in California, SSN issued in New Jersey.
 (A possible for Charles would be the Charles K. Marchant b. 1915 d. 1999 NJ?)

 - did you also see here? There is a daughter Kathleen Ivy Constance "Marchment" who was b. and d. 1913 also.

Interestingly, here his wife is given as Christina:

She (b. 1909) is on the CA death index as nee Patterson, mmn Steele.

So perhaps Kathleen died soon after moving to the US and Harry remarried?
