You can't assume a place of birth from place of residence at time of marriage, nor are men necessarily aged 25 when they marry.
Incidentally, the John TALBOT who married in 1782 was a widower, first marriage perhaps in 1766. It's even possible he was the John TOLBOT buried at Swinderby 1 Aug 1817 aged 87.

Bearing in mind that Swinderby is on the border with Notts - map http://www.streetmap.co.uk/map.srf?X=484080&Y=365520&A=Y&Z=126 perhaps the JT who died in 1817 was born a few miles over the border - Marnham is only about 5 miles to the NW.
