I'm trying to trace the parents, and possibly siblings, of Hannah White, born 1804, Newport Pagnell. Her parents are the above-named John and Mary White, but they may well have moved to London in later years, as Hannah married a Londoner, Charles Newton, circa 1823/24. Unfortunately, the names are very common, so this is a bit of a needle-in-a-haystack job! Any sightings of possible candidates in the 1851 census would be gratefully received. John's occupation was given as 'Farmer' when she remarried in 1850.

Don't know if this will help but the IGI appears to have siblings to Hannah as Ann christened 24 December 1801 and John christened 16 December 1805 Newport Pagnell.
I think it unlikely that you are going to get parents of these still living and identifiable in 1851, at least I don't see any.
This next might be a bit of a leap of faith, but might be worth keeping on file for the time being, especially since you don't give the area where Hannah was living, it might be in the near vicinity.
In 1851 there is Donnington Street, St Andrew Holborn, Middlesex John White Married 44 Gas Fitter Bucks Newport Pagnell HO107; Piece: 1514; Folio: 284; Page: 54
In 1841 there is Laystall Street, St Andrew Holborn, Middlesex John White 40 M.S. No Louisa White 30 Laundress No Jane White 1 Yes

I did think finding the parents was going to be a very long shot given they were named John and Mary, but thanks for the other pieces of info you've given me, Mary A.
From the info I have, Hannah and her husband and children started off in the Clerkenwell area, somewhere around St. James, but ended up in Upper Street in Islington, where the youngest child was born. After Hannah's husband died she appears to have moved back down to Goswell Road, which is where she is in 1851 with her second husband, so Holborn wouldn't be too far a stretch, at all.
