would skp look up a maurice brady b 1832c pos Waterford in 1841 census, i have no other details still trying to find his birth details so i can send for certificate, he joined the Indian army  in 1849  and served in the indian mutiny, he married Mary Ann Walsh in India were their first 3 children were born ive tried to find this marriage on Fibis but no luck . i have them  in 1871,1881 and 1901 census in Liverpool.

Unfortunately 1901 is 1st complete Irish census and only small fragments for earlier years for a few places survive (can't see any 1841 Co. Waterford listed).

Thanks for that info,
would ayone be able to tell me how i would be able to find their birth or marriage certificates , as i mentioned ive looked on Fibis and the indian army site but all i found was that  Maurice received the indian mutiny medal.

Civil registration of births, deaths and Catholic marriages started in 1864 (from 1845 for other marriages). For earlier dates you need to search for church records (if they survive) but to do so you need to know both the family's religion and where they lived (parish if not actual townland).

Thanks again,
I have in the past manage to get birth and marriage details from parish records for other rellys but i did know more details, looks like this ones going to be a challenge with so little details , but i wont give up trying,
