I too visited ruined farmhouses and tried some 'contemplation' but 'felt' nothing at all.

As for our descendants - do you think they wiil be trawling facebook electronic archives trying to decipher what 'nickname ' we used and trying to decipher out personalities from what we write ?

I was thinking today family history is absolutely dominated by the victorians because they got into record keeping in a big way - and oblitterating any architecture etc from prior eras.

Do you think in future we will be seen as 'cyber' new victorians because of the sheer volume of cyber chat we are generating ?
