Once again I have someone I can't find in the censuses, I have looked and looked but my patience has finally run out, it hasn't helped with finding 9 different spellings of the surname.
Please could someone more experienced than I look for Thomas Donnegan born Mar Qtr 1851 in Preston and his mother Bridget born c1826 in Ireland.
As Thomas has only just been born, I expect the family to still be in Preston, this is them in 1871.....

Or Michael and Bridgett Dunegan, but it says son Thomas aged 4 months was born Ireland  They do have a 5 year old Bridgett as well which matches the 1871.

I thought I was just looking for mother and son and didn't actually check Bridget Whittle - must take more notice in future
