Hi  ,
Can someone look up a census record if there is a John Atkinson & Hannah Atkinson (if that is definately his wifes name) on the 1841 census in Beverley they were both born in the 1700's, please?

Yeah sorry it is hannah, ive found my info, id wrote it down now. I wasnt 100% it was hannah or anna.

I can only find Hannah Atkinson on the 1814 census, ref HO107, piece 1229, Book/Folio 14/16, Page 2.
She is aged 60, born abt 1781 and is a of independent means. She is living alone at Minster Moorgate, St Nicholas, Beverley.
However, there is a death of a John Atkinson in Beverley, ref June quarter, Volume 23, page 5.
Hope these are the two people you are looking for.

Thanks so much 4 looking 4 me , i think that could be her she'd be about the right age as she had a son james in around 1800 (havnt been able to find if any other children tho).

Hi
Should have said John Atkinson died in June quarter of 1838.
There are a couple of births of James Atkinsons on IGI, with parents John and Hannah, but they were born in 1816 and 1820, so probably not your James, as you said he was born around 1800. Both of them had 2 siblings.
