I see that Stephen was with son James in 1861, in N. Waltham ..... (also stated as PoB)

so this will be him in 1851 ..

1851 - HO107/1681; Folio: 601; Page: 21 - North Waltham (Basingstoke District)

Lodging with the ?Murton? Household ...

all state born N. Waltham

Adam ?Murton? 37 Head Ag Lab
Mary Murton 35 Wife
Adam Murton 16 son

Theres a couple of possible marriages of a Charles Lock* to a spouse beginning 'E', but not before 1847 ... and only one in the Basingstoke District

This is probably his baptism:

Stephen Locke, baptised 31 Jan 1790 in North Waltham, parents William & Elizabeth.

The only marriage that I can find at the moment is this one:

Stephen Lock m Elizabeth Pitters 20 Nov 1809 in Barton Stacey
