Hi

If it is a place of residence when I put it into the 1911 search it came up as Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, the Willis family and poss Annie Edgington- is this the right one

Berks and Bucks are easily confused in many peoples' handwriting. Can you be sure the original says Berks?

Have you found Arthur in previous censuses? If so whereabouts was he in the earliest entry you have found?

Hi

You say that this was his place of birth in 1911 is this information from the transcript or do you have the original that you could paste the place of birth portion on here for deciphering.

Do you have his marriage certificate, is this where you have place of residence as Mursley from.

Sorry so many questions, from census searches he appears to be the only person born in Carnwall Marsh - the other family who I found supposedly living in Carnwall Marsh were I believe in a house called Carnwall.

Carswell Marsh would have been in Berkshire at one time.   It is situated just to the North West of Buckland (now in Oxon).
