Would someone be kind enough to look for a  FREDERICK WILLIAM ALDOUS b. 1860 in Bermondsey and married to ELIZABETH (PENN) b. 1856 in Croydon, with at least one son aged 11 called GEORGE FREDERICK born 1880 and a daughter aged 9 or 10 called MARGARET PHOEBE, 1882, both born in Croydon.  Are there any other children mentioned please? They were living at 16, Vicarage Road Croydon on the 1881 census with Fredericks brother and father. Fredericks occupation then was Carman.

There is no other information required at this time.

Thank you Liz, I was just beginning to copy it all out again and then gave up because it was too much info to rememeber so you saved me the trouble, thank you so much, this was just the information I needed. I thought Fred and Elizabeth had started a very large family!

Thank you Liz. Yes unusual that a family remain in the same house for 30 years! I am going to be cheeky and ask if you have any earlier censuses, for example, do you suppose young Fred was in the same place in 1871? His father was George born about 1823 in Maidon Essex and a Tailor on the '81 census. I don't know his mothers name as she was dead by the time of the '81 census.

Maldon parish registers seem to be online -  so I wont take all the fun from you , I'll let you look yourself to see if George and siblings are there or not!
