Chorlton on Medlock - location of Evans Street and Larton Street please

Can anyone help me please with a location for Evans Street and Larton Street, both in Chorlton on Medlock?

I have a couple of old maps but cannot see them at all.  I suspect they will be in the vicinity of York, Charles and Saville Streets.

The only Evans street i could see ( From 1920's to 1960's) is just off Oxford  road just around Chester street & Saville street
where Manchester University is these days.

Hi Luzzu,


Map I sent you  area G5.  (Evan St)

Do you see Grosvenor Sq, (green square) look  directly above it.  Larton isn't showing but I think I sent you the list I found on census with it listed in 1871.  It is one of the side streets near Hesketh and Leigh St.  Will kept having alook around.
