Thought I would try and have a quick look on the different census' for you to narrow down his death but it is like looking for a needle in a haystack, have you got anymore information on him?
Don't know if this could be him in 1861 RG9/4296/7 p 8

I have found Margaret in the next census in the same home still a Laundress with her grandaughter Ellen helping, Ellen is 18 and Margaret thinks she is 72. She had in total 7 kids of which only 3 were still alive.

Hiya, I was just looking at the 1881 census where they are as you say Jenkins street no9. You have seemingly done one of three things. 1) put down on here 9 instead of 14. 2) Got the wrong death cert. 3) got the wrong family in 1881. The Margaret Evans who goes on to live in Plasnewydd is the one at No 14 I am sure it is, as in 1901 Maria is still at home, and Maria has a child which she names after her grandmother Ellen. I can't really do anything else until I know which family is yours.

Hi Sarah. The 1921 death certificate is definitely correct as the grandson is mentioned. 1881 census, 9 Jenkins St Abergele, RG11/5531/9/11 is the correct family.
Daughter Elizabeth EVANS goes on to marry David PARRY and grand daughter Jane is seen in 1891 census 6 Rhuddlan Place, Abergele, RG12/4628/37/19/166. 1891 census PARRY family is 1 Mount Pleasant, Abergele, RG12/4628/40/26/223.
Daughter Jane EVANS marries Richard Henry ROBERTS and is 1891 census, 14 Watkin St Conway, RG12/4670/35/34/217.
Jane EVANS marriage certificate of 1890 states father Edward deceased.
Hope this clarifies things, Regards, Mike
