Looking for an Edward Bailey b. 1822 c Whitchurch Hampshire, on 1881 cenusu he is a farmer of 400 acres at Newbury , can anyone find him for me on any other census at all , thank you

so now we know edwards wifes surname was goley(though it looks more like gooly on the actual image)
will see if i can find martha and edwards wife jane together in earlier censuses
will see if i can find the marriage now

It looks likely it is the Edward Bailey missing in 1841c of his parents John and Ann Bailey etc, i wonder if there are any photos of the place at all or if it still exhists,

it looks like gooly/goley was not edwards wifes maiden name after all
and the assumption that edward married the housekeeper of his father might have been right after all
