Hi I am new,

Can anyone help with some information for a link between the Denison name and the MacGregors???

I have traced my family tree to 1566 with help from other online Denison's.... But there seems to be a brick wall there.

I looked into the Denison family heraldic history and found mention that our name is a sept clan to the MacGregors.

I also found information on the Dean of Lismore-James MacGregor who had a son called Gregor MacGregor and at some point he changed his last name to Gregor Dennison. He was murdered in 1565 by a Cambell.

Any help would be great
