WALSH family of Rochestown

Looking for any info on the family that farmed in Roachestown. Thomas Walsh 1843, his wife May 1844 their son Michael 1884. All the info I have on the family comes from the 1911 census.

I am researching my Great Grandparents James (1851) O'Neill and wife Sarah (1848). He was a carriage maker living in Whitechurch, Co Wexford.

Hi Enfield, Thank you for the info, I was not very clear in my post I should have stated that Michael is my grandfather, and lived into the 70s. The info you found may be very useful as it might give my a sibling for Thomas 1843. I believe that there were a number of the family in the area. I am still very new to family research please forgive my over sight.

I have more Walshes who were killed in ww1 but he was the only one from Rochestown.

Hi I have discovered that the Walsh family of Rochestown came from the Kilkenny Rochestown. So I will move them to Kilkenny.
