1841 lookup please

trying to find out about Richard Walsh born 1806 Darwen Lancashire, occupation was a farmer and Thomas Walsh born 1803 also a farmer, not sure if they was brothers but there was a James Walsh born 1829 as well, any information would be great

None at Over Darwen but its is Blackburn area 1806
3 years out to the census is nothing

Could be cousin or engaged Walking out together pre  Marriage child born out of Wedlock taking the boyfriends surname >  but not Bastardry

Bit strange but makes sence!!!

only marriage but Looks like Mary the Daughter is the Mother and a mix up over grandfather put as father

1841 census does not give relationships
Ages of adults over 15 years are rounded down to the nearest 5 years
Only "yes" or"no" is given as to whether they were born in the county they were living in

7year old Walsh Walsh who is with them on the 1841 census seems to be the son of Mary Walsh

I haven't time at the moment to search for you! but your lucky that these links webside below hold most of what you need!
would suggest  first to get to know how to use them before searching your research

On known dates gained From these web sites Blackburn library will look up the original entries free for you and send copies of entries

If you want original info

Phone them.-  enquire about sending SEA and Chegue for copies about 50p each many be less in bulk or more than a few.
also Lancashire records office Websites in search
