William Horace GOULDING and Vera Pauline SHALDERS

I'm searching for any information regarding William (Horace) Goulding (b1883), who married Vera Pauline Shalders (b1890).

They lived in New Zealand, and not sure whether they were born there, or came over from possibly Scotland?  They had scottish accents, however not sure whether they were actually from Scotland or not.

Any information would be valued.

I don't see any mention of Australia in this. Do you expect these people to be found in Australia? If so please tell us more. Where did they marry?

Perhaps you accidentally posted on the Australia Board. If so I can move it over to the NZ board for you.

Hello,

I am sure you will have looked here http://bdmhistoricalrecords.identityservices.govt.nz/home/ where you will find the marriage in 1910.

Vera Shalders birth in 1890 can also be found, her parents were listed as
James Gibson Shalders and Pauline.(given as Paulina Farquarson on the births of  1 of the other 8 children between 1870 and 1908)

James Gibson Shalders was born in NZ also in 1858 to James and Jessamine Jane Shalders who died aged 92 in 1925

There is a birth for a WILLIAM HENRY LEOPOLD GOULDING in 1884 (the only William in the decade 1880-1890). Parents John Edward and Janet Goulding.

Perhaps if you checked and used their copy service you might find out more information.

Thanks so much!  Yes I posted in NZ and Scotland... wonder whether I should post anywhere else???

Thanks for the info, I'm excited to have found my gg and ggg grandparents on one side at least Smiley
Still trying to work out where they originally came from before NZ though...

William Henry Leopold Goulding isn't mine... so perhaps my William Horace Clifford Goulding was born somewhere else other than NZ?Huh
