John Albert Hodgson 1878-1908

I am researching John Albert Hodgson (born 1878 in Rosedale) as part of my wife's family.
I have a record of him marrying in 1900 to Maud Onions. One of their children, Ernest, was born in 1903.

For the 1901 census I think I have located her (living with her mother) but not him.

I would welcome any advice on John Hodgson

Do you happen to know his occupation from the marriage certificate or birth certificate of Ernest?

What reference number is Maud at on the 1901 please?

Hi

John Albert Hodgson was a miner, according to his marriage certificate.

Ancestry's source citation for Maud for the 1901 census is Class RG13, Piece 2835, Folio 60, Page 9. The address is 25 Ashley St, Birmingham Civil parish, Birmingham.

I'm sorry evaret but I cannot see him at all - the problem is it is quite a common name and if he hasn't given his correct birth place it may be hard to actually track him down.

Did Maud's mother marry or remarry after Maud was born?
