I am trying to see if John English ,Christened 23 Feb 1794 might be Jonh English who married Martha Oddy in1817 at St Peters It would be great to find out who his parents were.I have his date of birth as 1796 but could be wrong.

I found a John English on the IGI and wondered if he was the same one who married Martha Oddy in 18 March 1817 also at St Peters Leeds. They could have got year of birth wrong.
Their Children George,Ann John,Harriett,Sarah,Edward and Martha.
I think he may have had a brother called Robson b. abt 1809, they were at the same address in 1841 but the age difference was too small to be a son.
Just a chance someone might have some parish records for this period to give me a new direction.

Ok here goes,
John English Occupation Packer married Martha Oddy 18 March 1817
No ages given.
Witnesses Benjamin Oddy and Robert Hargrove.
Unfortunately, I had a senior moment and was looking for Martha'a christening not Johns! I'm back in there next week and will try again.
