Hughes in Ballinrobe*completed*
« on: Saturday 24 October 09 14:00 UTC (UK) »

I need help. I am looking for details on my grandparents John Hughes and Elizabeth Moran who originate from Ballinrobe Co Mayo. This is all I know apart from the fact that there are living relatives still in Ballinrobe, But I dont know Where. My mother was Mary Bernadette Hancock b.1923. If any one can help me I would be grateful.

Hancock, you might be better having this topic transferred to the Ireland/ County Mayo section .  In the meantime here is the 1911 Cenus site for you to check.

Do you have any dates for your Grandparents

Welcome to Rootschat, hancock12. I've moved your post to Co. Mayo board since you know where in Ireland the family came from. However, Rootschat isn't a forum for tracing living relatives so if anyone any recent details they'll have to use PM (personal message) to communicate with you after you've made 3 posts.
See Help-Page: www.rootschat.com/help/pms.php
If you don't have the details of your granparents' marriage yet you can search the civil registration index here (bride and groom separately then cross-reference for matching details)-

That's good news. Here's the link to GRO which I meant to post for you earlier if you want to order a certificate-
