JONES, Kenry St, Gilfach Goch 1900s
« on: Saturday 24 October 09 21:27 UTC (UK) »

Have just found out have been tracing completely wrong people so back to beginning. Can anyone tell me anything about the above family? William David JONES m Martha EVANS 1903, Bridgend. Oldest child, Emrys, b1904. Eventually there were 7 or 8 children in the family, from memory, Billy, Cyril, Rachel, May, Irene, Phyllis or Marie. No trace of anyone in the 1901 census as far as I can see. The Kenry ST address is on Emrys's birth cert. Grateful for any crumbs. Thank you.

Do you have a copy of the 1903 mariage cert showing their respective  fathers names

Where was William born - have you checked the 1911 census for his birthplace and birthyear

If William was born before the 1881 census you would then be able to look for the family at www.familysearch.org

No, still waiting for marriage certificate. Can't find them on 1901 or 1911 census, have been looking for Emrys but only one I can find born in 1904 is wrong family.
