Hello, I am looking for information about William Cate born 1614 in Chardstock, Dorset.  Parents Christopher Cate and Margery Pike married 1613.  Also Abraham Edwards,was the husband of Mary Cate. Could anyone provide additional information.  Thank you, John Cates

Just in case you didn't find what you needed, here is what I have found.

William Cate and Agnes Dummet had the following children;Dorothy Cate baptised 17/8/1634; Joane Cate baptised 1/1/1636; William Cate baptised 22/12/1639;Henry Cate baptised 18/8/1644.


William Cate 1639 married Jone(Joan) Grange 3/6/1654. Jone(Joan) was the daughter of Jone who was a widow. All in Chardstock, Dorset.
