Please, James & Emma Wright 1901 census

Please can someone look for James born c1849 & Emma born c1838 Wright, both of Ryde Isle of Wight living in Portsmouth,
I have the index  books of the 1851 & found his widowed mother Keiza Wight & two children in Ryde but no James? Can anyone help?

Hi Pam,
Thank you very much for the info you found, yes spot on that is them, I couldn’t find Kezia Wright in the 1861 census index or her death but did find a marriage to James Simmons so that confirms that it is her.
Thank you for that you have been a help, I only have a partial transcript of the 1891 & the 1881 census for James & Emma where she is transcribed as M.M.A (I had a laugh at that).

Hi Pam,
Thank you that is wonderful. 
James  Wright visitor age 2 in 1851 census was with the Balerd = BALLARD family this was his mothers sister.

When I saw the address of the 1871census I realized Emma & James & father in law were living with Emma’s mother, Mary Ann Cotton nee Vanner she was on the previous page ( I have a copy of that page) & possibly listed as a separate family.
