Hi,
have been looking for my smiths from 1901.without any
luck so far. till last night.went though my selby death cd.
address ony. hoping to spot a familer place the family lived.
one person could not find was margaret smith born 1906.
to thomas edward smith & alice smith.
uncle fred age 93. tells me in a letter recieved sat. got to calling herself maggie smith. this got me thinking,
sure enough. after a long haul address.spotted one we lived at.23 mirkhill road selby.scolled back.
read,
maggie newlove age 64,wife of arthur.died.21.8.1968
arthur newlove died age 74.retired. died 23,2,1976
is there a way to find when married .and if had children.
and is there any newloves out there in selby.who had a maggie smith as their mother,
              thanks mike

You might be lucky with www.freebmd.org.uk
If they had children then as they are after 1911 the mother's maiden name will show in the index.
Please take care not to mention any details of living people though.
