James Clare (Tailor by profession) b.6.2.1795 & bapt 19.4.1795 Stockport.

James father was Joseph Clare ,mother possibly Francis ?

James married Alice Simpson @ Grappenhall 16.12.1817.

Children: Eliza Clare 1817
              Susannah Clare 1820
              Philip Geoffrey c.1826 (my husbands Gt Grandfather)
              Sarah Anne 1827
Possibly other children but not found.
I have Alice & the above listed children on the 1841c for Hulme,Manchester.
Alice is 65 b.Cheshire
Eliza 24 b.Cheshire-Silk Weaver
Susannah b.Cheshire -Cotton Weaver
Philip G.16 b.Hulme -Throstle Doffer
Sarah A 14 b.Hulme

I am trying to find out if there were anymore children as there is a big gap between Susannah & Philip.I would also like to find out more about Alice Clare nee Simpson,what happened to Philips siblings,& also more details of James Clare's parents in order to move on with our tree.

Any info of this family gratefully appreciated

If you got this from CPRDb then I am surprised that Eliza wasn't there.
Philip & Sarah Anne were both born Hulme Manchester,they wouldn't be in there.

James Clare was bapt.Stockport 19.Apr 1795
Joseph Clare,James(father) bapt Stockport 28.June 1768

I have a possible Frances Kirk bapt Bradwell Derbyshire 13 Feb 1770 as Josephs wife but no definite proof.
