Hello,

Welcome to Rootschat. If it's help you are after, you've come to the right place.

What we need is as much as you can give on full names, dates  and places. You say your grandparents are buried in Crewe cemetry - do you know when they died? Even a decade will help us to find them and more about their families.

We would be unable to help with the sons of "jean mckenna" as it will be too-recent in history, and this site has a policy of not publishing details of recent people.

There is a possible death reg AUG 2001, where jean Mckenna was b 28 May 1941. Does that sound correct?

What else would you be looking for?

HI Janice

I wonder if maybe your grandpa was actully known as Henry Benson Edmondson cos there is a death regsiesterd in Dec 1995 giving him a birth year of 21/8/1911 registered in the South Cheshire district  and then there is one Margaret Ada Edmondson Sept 1995  with a birth year of 29/6/1920

Do you think this is them?

Hi

Just to add I checked out the marriages and there was a Henry B Edmonson married a Margaret A Parkes in Crewe in the 3rd Quarter of 1940

There are also the boys names you mention showing whihc aslo match on mothers maiden name 1944 for one & 1947 for the other

Checking further Margaret surname may have been mistranscribed it could be Parker

Hi

Welcome to Rootschat.

If I were you I'd get their marriage certificate as that should give you both father's names and occupations. That way you'll only have to get one instead of two  Cheesy Cheesy

Hi

If I were you I would obtain the marriage cert of your grandparents that way then you get a head start on the father of each grandparent if  known that is.
