Looking for info from the 1901 census on John Dixon bn 1870 at Oxhill and his wife Isabella also bn Durham 1870.  John is a schoolteacher.

Hello Carole,
Just shows it never pays to assume. 
I am looking for Isabella Dixon, and found her and John Dixon and assumed they were husband and wife.  Could I trouble you for Isabella Dixon from the Census bn 1870 at Lanchester.

I have transcripts of the Parish Registers for Collierley St. Thomas (the parish church for Kyo, Annfield Plain etc.) which include the marriage of John George DIXON and Isabella LUMLEY as well as some baptisms for children of both John and Annie DIXON and John and Isabella DIXON. Would you like me to look up anything in particular?

I would have loved the info on the Dixons, but...after delving thru the info that Carole sent me I found Isabella Dixons maiden name was Lumley, and she is not mine.
Back to the drawing board.

Sorry McTalbert it looks as though I havent explained things very clearly.  I assumed that the Dixon marriage was the Isabella I was looking for but after receiving the info and working out that Isabellas maiden name was Lumley I knew that it wasnt.
