Photo of St Andrews Church, Great Hampton
« on: Monday 26 October 09 06:38 UTC (UK) »

I am researching my wife's family history and have got back as far as a George Weston born possibly abt 1745/50 and place of birth unknown. The first definite record of him was when he was married on 9.2.1775 to Elizabeth Marchale (aka Marshall) in Great Hampton. His wife died on 2.9.1822 and George on 4.11.1824. they are both buried at St Andrews in Great Hampton.
I wonder if anyone reading this, living in or nearby (Great) Hampton interested in digital photography and having the time to take a picture of the church and graveyard so that I could include this in our family records?  i am not expecting a photo of their graves as they were in all probability buried without headstones and if they were, the inscriptions would have weathered by now.
if it is possible to get some photos they could be sent to me via email so that no costs were incurred.
from the little i have been able to read on various internet sites, it seems this church building remains the same as the building in which they would have been married and worshiped in.
Thanks for any help anyone can provide.

Anton
