1871 lookup please/ Sculcoates area/ COMPLETED

Looking for a William & Margaret Major on the 1871. Margaret would have been born about 1849, not sure about William. According to a birth certificate for a daughter born 1881 they were living in the Drypool area of Sculcoates at the time and William was shown as deceased on the certificate.

What was Margaret's maiden name on the 1881 birth cert

Have you checked freebmd to confirm they married before 1871

Have you checked the 1881/1891 for Margaret - what was her birthyear and birthplace

Hello

It seem's they married in 1861 in Hull. Margaret maiden name was Oliver. Not sure of Margarets birth year but believed to be about 1849

What was the name of the child born 1881 - see above - have you looked for this family on the 1881 census which is free to search at www.familysearch.org

Nothing is showing for 1871 and I doubt they married in 1861 if Margaret was thought to have been born in 1849 - she would have been 12yrs old!
