McCaffrey Main Street Tempo

Searching Edward  McCaffrey, my great grandfather can't find anything earlier than 1911.. anything on his parents, brothers, sisters, etc. He was born 1870..any help appreciated

Hi,
   I cannot find an Edward McCAFFREY born in Tempo but I have found an Edward McCAFFERY who was born 16 Nov 1868 to Dennis McCaffery and Mary McCaffery.
    On a different site, IGI, I found a Patrick McCAFFERY born to same parents in Tempo on 13 Sept 1866 and a Thomas McCAFFREY  born Fermanagh to Dennis McCAFFREY and Mary McCAFFREY on 17 May 1871. There appears to have been difficulty with the spelling.

IGI (www.familysearch.org) lists several different Edward McCaffreys born in Co. Fermanagh arounf the same time.
If Edward married in Ireland his marriage certificate should list his father's name.

Lots of McCaffrey around Ballyshannon, County Donegal, Ballyshannon site had a list of McCaffrey but the Ballyshannon site is moving when I find out the new address will post.
Ballyshannon electrol list 1939/40 McCaffrey at Bachelors Walk, Carrickboy - Town Land, Castle Steet, Creevy Town Land, Erne Street, Kildoney Glebe Town Land, Legalton Town Land, Lissacholly Town Land,
The Town lands would be Flax seed growers for the Linen Industry.

Tempo is about 9 miles east of Enniskillen and Ballyshannon is about 29 miles west of Enniskillen. McCafferty is probably a common surname in lots of areas in Ireland.

On the site Ireland in maps it say - MacCaffrey are a Branch of the Macguires from Fermanagh from Townland Ballymacaffrey near Fivemiletown on the Tyrone Border.  Fivemiletown is just across form
Enniskillen on the map.  Some of the McCaffrey droped the Mc/Mac.  McCaffrey still in Tempo and have business on Main street.
