Hi i am hoping to send for my wifes late mothers birth certificate by post.
    she was born in Middlesborough in 1895 named Clara Howell.
    would the registry office be in Middlesborough if so  could anyone give me details to order certificate.

Hello,

You could get it from the Register Office in Middlesbrough but it can also be ordered online from the General Register Office

www.gro.gov.uk

If you give the birth registration reference, it will cost you seven pounds.

This looks like the birth

Sep 1895, Middlesbrough, 9d/600
