There's not anything comprehensive online for New Jersey vital records for the 20th century.  If you have further details about them, dates could be narrowed down on the census records and you could try to order birth or death certificates if you were so inclined.  There's information about doing that here:  http://www.state.nj.us/health/vital/ and for earlier records here:  http://www.state.nj.us/state/darm/links/archives.html

This census has them at 338 not 340.....

Arrival date: 11 Feb 1925

Ernest King age 38 born abt 1888 with wife Rose and son Leonard

It says he is going to his brother Leonard King living on Hecker Street in Newark which is around the corner from 338 Orange Street.
