WALLER/STIEBER - BOURNEMOUTH

I have just received the death certificate for my uncle HENRY EDWARD WALLER  of 10a Alexandra Road Bournemouth. The informant was his step-daughter NORA NANCY STIEBER of the same address. Year of death 1981. I would like to be able to trace any existing members of his family but I can't find any Stiebers in the BT phonebook for Bournemouth. Would a letter to the local paper be a good idea and if so can anyone advise the best one to write to.
Any ideas greatly received. ( I have found the property sold at least twice in recent years so a letter to the last address seems a waste of time.)

Maybe you need to look out of the Bournemouth area

I have found a marriage and a more recent birth  of a Steiber in N Hampshire

If you need those details I will PM them to you - as we do not post information on the living/possibly living

The local paper is the Bournemouth Echo. Why not email them?

I can't help with locating members of the family, but I was drawn to this post as I was born at 10 Alexandra Road many years ago long before it was converted into flats.

You never know what is going to turn up in the posts here on RootsChat. Grin
