Hi

I wonder whether anyone has a resource that can identify a marriage between a John Whitmore and Anne that would have taken place in the Hinckley district abt 1809.

I am actually researching William Whitmore who was born abt 1810 and who went on to marry Elizabeth Jackson in Hinckley.  I can spot an 1810 christening to John and Anne Whitmore, then several other christenings after 1815, including another for a William Whitemore in 1817.

I am just not sure if this is the same family - i had hoped for a marriage about 1809 although now i am wondering if the 1814 marriage pertains to the later christenings and that the 1810 christening is unrelated!

Anne Nuthalls seems like a good bet!

I just looked at William Whitmore's marriage to Elizabeth Jackson and a Witness was Thomas Nuthalls!

Looks like his father John and mother Anne were living in sin for a few years before they married in 1814!

If you can spot the marriage details for John Whitmore and Anne Nuthalls i'd be most grateful. 

Also can you spot a baptism for a Anne Nuthalls, with a possible family connection of Thomas Nutthalls? I think she may have been born abt 1792.

Ann. ... By her own signature.

Had you got back to me last night I could have had a look at that Baptism
