William Hill Marriage About 1800

Trying to find marriage between William Hill and Elizabeth ?. Both born about 1788 believed in Hampshire but may have married in Gloucestershire

Any assistance greatly appreciated

Hi Harry,
A little more info would help!
Were they living in Romsey, Hampshire in 1851,
with son John, born 1819 and his wife Eliza?
Was William a Carpenter?

If they were born c 1788 the marriage is more likely to be around 1810-1815.

Hi Trish.
Yes the were living in Romsey in 1851. On 1841 census they were living in Milford
They had a son William who appeared on the 1841 census but not on 1851 census.. The first son John was shown as being born c1820 so possibly marriage could have taken place about 1818-20 as you say. his would make the about30 years when wed.I havenot been able to trace any marriage so far1800-1820

Someone has been looking at this Family in the past. They list the 4 children on the 1841 census living with William and Elizabeth.
This record on the IGI at Familysearch has;
James HILL, 1829 of Milford, Hampshire, parents William HILL and Elizabeth WARN

I am sorry I cannot find anything else. Hopefully someone will.
