Hi I don't know if anyone can help me. I am trying to go back through my family tree and "tidy-up" some details regarding my Grandparents. I don't know if anyone would be able to look up the death dates for my Grandparents which were pretty recent in the greater scheme of things. I know that my Grandfather, Patrick Donnelly died while living in Missisauga, Toronto, Ontario in approx. 1979 but I know no more details than that. My Grandmother, Caroline Ada Donnelly died while living in an old peoples home near Barrie (or Barry) Ontario in approx. 1995. It would be a great help is someone could either point me in the right direction where to find out these details out or possibly could check it out for me. I know that neither was buried both were cremated one scattered on the Crem rose garden and the other brought back to the UK and scattered near her childhood home. So there will be no graves. Thanks!

Thanks for your reply Karen. I'm afraid I can't remember anymore than it was an old people's home in Barrie. I believe my cousin was living near there at the time, so they thought it would be a nice place for my Gran to live. Both she and my Grandad (after immigrating from the UK) had lived in Missisauga. My Dad always spoke about how lovely the home in Barrie was! Anyway, I will certainly try both of your suggestions. Thanks very much, Leslie

Thanks for the link - I haven't spoken to her since I was 12! So I think I would really have to pluck up the courage for that call! Thanks again, Leslie

http://www.islandnet.com/ocfa/search.php This does not mean this is her, though the middle initial is encouraging. You might see if Kingston (Frontenac County Genweb) might send a transcription of the stone. Caroline A, DONNELLY,.,.No Stone, St Mary's Roman Catholic, Cemetery Kingston In Section P Frontenac County (I have paraphrased the listing. This does not mean this is her, though the middle initial is encouraging. You might see if Kingston (Frontenac County Genweb) might send a transcription of the stone.

Info in the first post indicates that there would be no graves. Kingston, Ontario is about a 4 hour drive from Barrie, Ontario.
