Hi
I'm looking for info on Arthur Bostock born Beam Heath Nantwich in 1849, he married Anne Palin of Aston Cheshire in 1871, parents and siblings would be interesting.
I have also found a Price Bostock living next door to them in 1881, would be interested to know if they are related.

I'm also researching Ezra Nixon, born 1851 Middlewich, moved to Leeds (1881 census), then mayor of Crewe 1925-26,I would like to find his parents.

Thanks

Hello to all. I am new here, so I have only just seen this message. I am researching Ezra Nixon too and was so pleased to see the 1851 census returns listing his father, who I had been unable to find so far. Many many thanks to Peter for knocking down one of my two huge brick walls.
  I would add some information:
Ezra's mother Ann was born at Sandbach,  Sandwich is a misprint no doubt.
Ezra had two other younger brothers not listed, presumably they died in infancy.
They were Meshach and Abednego -- of burning fiery furnace fame one supposes. Shadrach and Meshach are listed in the Cheshire birth indexes for 1840-1845, Abednego and Ezra for 1846-50. The register lists them with the spelling Nickson.
Ezra was my mother's grandfather. Maybe we can compare notes further
I have his Leeds census records and the removal to Monks Coppenhall, Crewe but don't know much after 1901, except of course for the life of his daughter Mabel who was my grandmother
                         Regards
                                        Jane

Apologies, I rechecked and Sandbach is already listed in the 1871 census details.
