Tracing a birth in Gibraltar

I am trying to trace the family of my Great Grandmother, Annie Elizabeth WHITE, She was born c1872 in Gibraltar but I have no idea how to get a copy of her birth certificate.

hi,,i am assuming that this is an army birth ??

there is this record from the regimental birth index..i believe you can order certificates from here,just like a regular GRO certificate. Other rootschatters can probably help to confirm this.

annie e white gibraltar 1871 R.E. VOLUME 664 PAGE 156

The R.E. refers to the regiment,,,so,,royal engineers.

Thanks very much for the info. I hadn't thought about it being army but makes sense. Will see what I can find out.
