Hi again,

I am not having much luck with Johanna .... there is one listed at Karori Cemetery Wellington for 1927 but no age and the other

Johanna Ernie McGrath 1948 at Waimari Cemetery ... again no age.

Someone else might come up trumps for you.

Only Don to go.

Cheers

Hi KHP,

I finally got on to BMD and there is heaps of Johanna McGraths I will need more info before I work out which one is her., sorry for sending you on a wild goose chase Embarrassed  Thanks so much for trying.

Do you think Don is an unusual name for the late 1800's?  It seems so modern.  That could be a mistranscribe maybe.

Again thanks so much

Don short for Donald ..... I have seen it far back.  Associate it more with Scotland though Smiley

Don't worry about the goose chase .....been on quite a few of those over the years Grin

There were a few Johannas, but their ages didn't fit for the birth year.

Good luck in your chasing.

That would be Ruru Lawn cemetery and i'd say that was meant to be Cuba Street, Wellington.

Hi Sarndra and John ritchie,

So kind of you both to take the time to help me.  Its great to have Thaddeus's last address, he was the "black sheep" of this lot always starring in the police gazette,  fond of the drink Wink  so of course the black sheep are very interesting!

Cheers

Johanna Ernie McGrath 1948 at Waimari Cemetery ... again no age.

Someone else might come up trumps for you.

Hi Leandra

Am assuming Johanna McGrath is the former Johanna DOODY (born 1881) who married Thomas McGRATH (1908) ?

"Johanna Ernie McGRATH" appears to be a mistranscription ?

Death

1948 - McGRATH - Johanna Annie - 64 years (bc 1884)    Huh

[Notes:  Death informant may not have "age at death", strictly correct.]
