Charles immigrated in 1910 (Liverpool to Portland, Maine).  Do you have this information?  If not, we can post it.  (Joining relative or friend: Mr. Varritz?, Toronto, Canada.)

Many many thanks, and so fast, this is brilliant.
There are many details that make me sure its him, I have occupation Automoble stock keeper.
His father was Henry, but his mother was Sarah Spinks, not Mary Spence. As is shown correctly in the other record you offer to show. I had difficulty reading some of that, and only got the place as Toronto.

Could you now be kind enough as to indicate where i should look, as to areas of Canada etc, as I don't understand them at all.
When earlier trying to search, I was always asked for region or similar, which I had no idea of.

Wonder who his first wife was and if there were any children
I have a couple of clues.
Marriages Dec 1915
Cornwell  Frances E  Dell  Islington  1b 744
Dell  Charles F  Cornwell  Islington  1b 744

Marriages Sep 1916
Dell  Charles F  Upton  Richmond S.  2a 1039
Upton  Jeannette  Dell  Richmond S.  2a 1039

again I cant thank you enough best regards Brenda

For a start, this explains more than you ever wanted to know about Oshawa:

Charles' attestation paper appears to have been signed in Lethbridge, Alberta, so I was surprised to see him "back in" Ontario c1920's.

The original does look like May rather than Mary.  I suppose you're trying to tie it in with the burial of Mary Adelaide Dell in Doan's Ridge Cemetery Crowland Township Welland County?

http://www.islandnet.com/ocfa/
You can search some cemeteries at this link and Charles F. Dell is shown in Oshawa Union Cemetery, Durham County.
Oshawa has always been heavily involved in the auto industry in Canada

I was wondering if his first marriage was in England, as I didn't see any reference to one prior the 1924 date.  It looks like there is a possibility he did marry in England.

Charles would have married in England to Jeanette Upton.  She died July 14, 1923 at the Oshawa Hospital at age 31 from appendicitis and complications.  She is buried Union Cemetery.  If you want the original scan PM your email address and I will send it.

added
I would think that if you traced the 2nd wife back she probably came from around Crowland Township and preferred to be buried in that area.
