I am trying to trace my GGGG Grandparents:
I have got to:
William Woodside DOB: 1815 Born: Gatehouse of Fleet his trade was wood and forester and gardener. He Married:
Margaret Woodside Nee Hannay/Hainie DOB 1817 Born Ayrshire.
I have no other information, if any one can point me in the right direction I will be more than pleased.

Hi Keith
Have you got any census info for them? This looks like a possible 1841 census entry, with the standard rounding on ages to the nearest 5 yrs for the 1841 census. You would have to check the original as Margaret may showing as Mary for this transcript:
William Woodside 20, Cotton H L W Mary Woodside 25 Hugh Henney 50, Ireland
Address: Birtwhistle St, Girthon, Kirkcudbrightshire
Their marriage, actual extract on IGI:
WILLIAM WOODSIDE and MARGARET HAINIE Marriage: 25 OCT 1840 Borgue

I think I have found Willaim and Margaret in Worcestershire in 1851 and 1861.
I think this is Maragret's death:
June 1861 Bromsgrove vol 6c, p20.
Shame it isn't a Scottish death as the certificate would have given you so much info. But it would confirm if William Henney is her father.
It looks like William remarries twice as he is with Sarah in 1817 and 1881 and with Mary in 1891.
Does this sound about right, if so, I'll delve a bit more.
