CAN ANYONE HELP Me Find EVAN JONES
« on: Friday 30 October 09 00:15 UTC (UK) »

Hi, Evan Jones in the 1911 census was living at 2 Bell St. Trecynon. Aberdare.
He was born 1847 in Cilcennin Cardigan. so was correctly aged 64. He was at the same address in the 1901 census ( different people living at the address in 1915)  He was nicknamed "Jones the Brake".
Can anyone help me find out where and when he died?
His eldest son Richad David Jones " nicknamed Dick Davey"ended up living in Gadlys Rd. Aberdare. His next eldest son Thomas Evan Jones stayed around Trecynon i believe as did his daughter Margaret Elizabeth who married a Morgan in 1911.
I'm stuck,I need inspiration Huh

thanks  Dave

Aberdare came under the Merthyr Tydfil registration district up to 1934 and from 1935 it was Pontypridd

Hi Carolew, thanks for the reply. I have checked out this entry but alas his next of kin doesnt fit.   I get mixed up with this reg. district, If a person died in Aberdare in the early 1900,s do i look under Merthyr reg. or Pontypridd ? At the moment i'm trying both, without any luck
thanks  Dave
