PARTRIDGE family from Kelvedon, Essex

I am looking for a marriage of Joseph Partridge and Judith Gifford. Their children being born from about 1812. Joseph and Judith are supposedly born in Kelvedon around 1785 to 1790.

Any help greatly appreciated

Greetings from Sydney.
I have been unable to find the marriage with my resources.
But in 1851 Census Judith is born Suffolk, not Essex, and Joseph, Newton, Suffolk, so marriage could have been there.

1841 Census has them born in County (Essex) but this does not appear to be correct by 1851 Census.

Possible Christening for Jane Gifford born c 1794 according to  1841/1851 Census.

Judith GIFFORD
23 June 1793, Alpheton, Suffolk
Mother JANE Gifford

Yes, it is her.

1861 Census Joseph 77 and Jane 66 are still in Kelvedon and living alone. RG9/1106/78/30
Judiths POB is ALPHETON, Sussex, c 1795

Joseph is 1784, Newton, Suffolk.

Hi,

I have looked on findmypast.com;ancestry.com;Pallots marriages and Familyrelatives.com, and it isn't on any of them. The 1861 census says that Judith ? was born in Alpheton in Suffolk so it is possible they were married there. Maybe if the request was put in on the Suffolk Rootschat lookup page someone may have copies of the parish records or could do a look up for the 1810 to 1812 period.

I typed in the wrong name for Judiths christening. It really was Judith, not Jane.Yo can check the IGI for it now. I have fixed the post now.
